take the pressure out of the system at the valve on the fuel rail before removing the filter.

^^^^^there is no valve on the fuel rail on 2.4.
you get some gas from the pressure but the main is that the filter is full of gas.

I showered like 10 times already, with plenty of soap and shampoo... I think the gas somehow reacted with my hair or something...

Wow, I never would've thought...
Well here's the official GM procedure for relieving the fuel system pressure.
1)Disconnect the fuel pump connector.
2)Lower the vehicle.
3)Start and run the engine until the fuel supply remaining in the fuel pipes is consumed. Engage the starter for 3 seconds in order to assure relief of any remaining pressure.
4)Raise the vehicle.
5)Reconnect the fuel pump connector.
6)Lower the vehicle.
7)Disconnect the negative battery cable in order to avoid possible fuel discharge if an accidental attempt to start the engine is made. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Engine Electrical.

Gojo will take care of the smell. I skipped all the OEM procedures and just did it. I go to UTI so everyday Im gettin dirty so I dont care bout the smell. I just unscrewed one side of the filter a lil bit and let it drain for about 5 minutes and changed it then.
