haha yea i did have a good time. it wasnt really a "comp" it was just placin the mic on the windshield and seein how loud it was. the meter was ran off a generator, so if thats what u mean by AC power, than yes. there isnt any rules really, but u can bet that that van has some serious deadening, etc and he acctually took off both front seats during the "comp" anyways, that mic had to be pretty accurate because it was the first time i felt the groud shake from a 50 hz burp (or whatever hz). also at that show, theres burnout contests, "showoff of the week", local radio station 103.3 hosts it, and theres a couple hundred bikes, a hundred trucks, couple hundred cars, i might be exaggerating, but its pretty big IMO.

AC mic = Audiocontrol, makers of the infamous SPL-190 mic. Reads anywhere from 8-10dB higher than actual.
Wish I lived in a big enough city that we had stuff like that to go to.
