Hit and F***** Run
Well today me, my old lady and my alero got involved in a damn hit and run, some redneck effwad hit us from behind, as i waved for him to go into my driveway (since he hit me right infront of my driveway and i live on a very dangerous highway) well as i pulled in he kept going (he hit me with some piece of shit chevy truck) well as i patiently waited for all the cars to go by me i reversed it, threw it into gear and halled balls down the highway, thinking he turned off i too turned off and hit 140 and climbing before realizing it wasnt him, meaning he was long gone. I filled out a police report but that was pretty much a waste of time, they basically told me unless i find him and give them his plate number then im effed. So tomorrow me and the alero are going hunting for some redneck, (luckily the alero is a strong mothereffer and the bumper isnt too bad, just needs a body hammer and some paint work, but it just pisses me off why the drunk eff couldnt just pull in, i get insurance info and just tell him that it wasnt that bad id probably fix it, but no ppl arent that nice, and of course out of the three wrecks ive had (none my fault) my neck only starts to hurt on this one, when there is no one i can blame it on. Any one else have any similiar experiences with there alero.

Only difference is I knew the make and color and who owned the car ('89 Mustang owned by the kid across the street) and the cops did shit about it. They knew the kids reputation and agreed it was probably his car but nothin ever happened. Got even much much later, he was like WTF happened and i just smiled.

yeah im going to try and get some pics with digital and ille post em, i fixed my trunk (it didnt shut but just alittle adjustment and it worked) and i fixed the side of the bumper wear it popped out the rest like i said is either a body hammer to get the little dents out and some paintwork on the back, my wing is alittle loose as well (yes its an aluminum wing so try not to rip on me too hard in the pics, i was just bored and when i get the money a REAL fiberglass is going on it) Thanx alot guys i hope i find the douchebag as well, not going to be hard to miss a dark blue truck with white paint on the front.

^^Caught that too. Thought at first he might have transposed the 0-4 and did some editing after "climbing". Something like, "hit 104 and climbing those 4 MPHs b4 topping at 108 as the truck sped off". But hey, just my interpretation
Anyway, sux about the hit and run. If ya find him, keep it legal and videotape in case he wants to nut up. Nothing better than incriminating evidence

he might be talking about 140km/h not a 140miles/h, so really it depends on where he lives, dont jump the gun and call b/s so quickly man

This is the reason that you have insurance specifically for "hit and run" pay your deductible and go about your day...its not one of those things that count against you, so just deal with it and move on

Agreed. When it happened to me i had to pay a $500 deductible, but my insurance didnt go up or anything. But accidents do deffinitly make you a better driver and more aware of whats going on around you, so atleast you will be more aware of sh*t around u now! lol

there's your other problem...lower your deductibles...it doesn't raise your premium all that much and in instances like now, you'll be happy you did... dropping mine from 500/500 to 50/100 raised it like $20 a period or $40 a year
