floor lights staying on...

I noticed a couple weeks ago that the light on the passenger side under the glove box was barely lit even with the car shut off and the door closed... All the other lights were completely off but that one... so I took it out... Now, I just noticed that the light on my side is doing the same thing... Does anyone else have this problem or is it even a problem??? I tried taking pics, but they didn't turn out... Oh and if this helps, I did replace most of the interior bulbs with LEDs...

A bit off topic, but I have a 2001 and it doesn't have those lights. Are they supposed to be there?

some do and some dont, i cant recall the exact reason why, i think it has something to do with the model of the car/year *shrug*

I took mine out and really, I don't see too much of a need for them.... The other three lights do fine lighting up the car since they are white LEDs. lol You might have them mrmike, they might just be out, unless you looked for them.. lol

Same thing..

Me too..

I have traced it to my door sensor.. it basically thinks your door is open all the time..

Now.. does your radio turn off when you turn your car off WITHOUT opening the driver door ?

If it does, its your door sensor, in the arm mechanism inside your door panel..

Im going to fix mine this weekend I think..

I have pulled all my fuses for interior lights..

Its a little dark and annoying in my car at night if I need a light, but better than a dead batt.

ohhh..

wait I just red your message over..

It prolly does have something to do with your leds..

I have noticed that there is alot of places in the car (electronics) that there is a small voltage present on courtsy lights, so small that they dont light up 12v mini bulbs (Filament bulbs) but that small voltage would EASILY light up an LED due to the miniscule voltage needed to light those up.

1.2volts is enough to light them up, sometimes even less..
test the voltage at the light with the car off and doors closed..
