it would b easy 2 make this box. a pre fab box mdf board and jig saw. u just do a cover board and screw it on 2 a prefab.

its a nice box considering its not as heavy leaving the ride lighter to RACE!!!
and yeah i would rather have 12's instead of 10's. Ill buy it if it contains these mentioned factors and remove the back seat and add a nos setup

I talked to him and he said he could make it for 12's but its only got 6" mounting depth. not enough cubic inch room for regular subs. you would have to get those slim ones

whoever buys that is getting ripped off for 105 bucks. Cost point of view only takes about $15-20 bucks in material to make. And the box seems kinda small. most 10" subs takes around .7 cu ft of air space. and 12's will be around 1 cu. ft. of air space.

Ok, theres a few problems here.

1) 1/2" MDF. Thats not acceptable to use in a sub box- period. 3/4" MDF or better- or go home!

2) MDF Caulk? Whats air tightness?

Thats box is small, just way to small. You really cant tell what the build quality is, it has carpet on it! Whats the QTC on it? What all subs will fit in it? Just because its 6" to the back wall, you CANT shove a sub in there with a 6" mounting depth!

If you guys want boxes hit me up. www.basstronics.net www.caraudiocentral.net

I build my boxes to your equipment (subs/amps) and tailored to the type of music you listen to adn to your expectations. From SPL to SQ, I can do it.

I will be stepping up my equipment (panel saw) and the lead time will be cut down.

I back my enclosures with over 10 years experience and literally 100's of boxes Ive built over the years.

Furthermore- in a few weeks I will be adding pictures of MY Alero install. Hell, check the FS section for my 8" 6th order Bandpass box
