after messing around with my headlights and removing my foglights, my blinkers suddenly won't work!... when i try to use the blinker they won't even click (the clicking noise inside when you use the blinker)... i did remove the blinker bulb assembly from the headlight assembly, could that have something to do with it... can someone tell me how to fix this??????

hmm, thats odd...to start with, check fuses, probably blew a fuse...next, I would probably check the connection to the signal bulbs again by unplugging them from the harness and plugging them back in....next (if that doesnt work) check the bulbs, are they blown out?....if either of those solutiosn don't work, try the diagnostic way of finding the problem: start at the wires goign to the bulbs and check that power goes to them when the bliners are on it probably won't....next go to the turn signal relays and see if they are getting power....if not, maybe you have a loose connection...

im not positive but if he doesnt hear the clicking that means the relay aint even clicking over so my thoughts would be the fuse, i dont think the bulb being blown or even not fully in the socket has anything to do with the relay clicking over although i may be wrong, the relay may need a resistance present to activate everything. check your bulbs, then check the fuse, the check the relay, then check out the wiring....that would be the way 2 go

If your car is a 2001...GM is doing a recall this year on the blinkers. I had mine fixed last year as soon as I found out they decided to do a recall. Call Olds and tell them that you can't wait and you need it fixed now (if your car is a 2001)
