Lug patterns and offset.

Alright ive read up on the aleros lug pattern and i think its was 5x114.5 right? The main problem is i dont understand what the offset is or what our cars need, so if someone could clarify this for me thatd be great!

5x115 but 5x114.3 (aka Grand Am, Malibu) will work as well. I've got the stock rims off so I should measure the offset. My current rims are 16x7 with a +40 offset.

When you find the rims, post the specs here and I'm sure the guys will tell you if it will fit. A +40 on a 7 inch rim will most likely fit. There are also other ones who come close but again, when you find one, post it here.

Actually Grand ams and Malibus are also 5x115, but you're correct that a 5x114.3 bolt pattern will fit.

Really? I was always told that the Alero only had 5x115 and the others were 5x114.3.

Yes but I prefer the 5x115. A tire dealer told me that 5x114.3 will fit. So yes.
