What do you guys think an alero would look like with an LED based light for the tail lights? Over the next month I am gonna try to build one (if I win the auction), just wanna know if you guys have any suggestions or what you think? Also should I frost the plastic on the inside or leave it? If frosted it will glow red evenly or if it is left you will see the led's pattern?

i would have to see the taillight that you're gonna base your "make" off of.

Are you talkin 'bout the round led's (3057), because at Anderbra's cardomain site, he got some pic's of some clear taillights with 4 3057's.

Actually I'm considering the same thing..
At first I wanted to base my design off the Skyline R34.. tails. With a kind of Infinity G35 Tail light design ( there's about 14 bulbs in two diagonal lines, each bulb is surrounded by a sheath of chrome and I'd prolly use four super bright Red leds per "bulb") I like that alot.
Then I got to thinking about horizonally using the backup and turn signal parts as the brake and the upper 2/3's for night running, turn, and backup..
We'll see what shakes out..
Hey if you want to collaborate on this, PM me and mebbe we can pool our resources.

I was thinking about about making something out of leds to look like the olds symbal when you hit the breaks.....It would take a little bit of work..... But it might be ok.....I will work in photo shop when I get home to give ou a better idea of what I am talking about........
