Xenon
Hey 1 little question i'm very interested in putting xenon blue lights in the Alero and my question is if it can get ruined when starting the car on becoz i have daytime running lights ... or should i just shut off the daytime running lights?
are there any other problems that might occur?
Thanx.

I had thoses cheap xenon ones and they didn't get hurt by the low voltage. actually they just didn't turn on for drl. but I couldn't see crap on the highway, so if your gonna get them get brand name bulbs even though they cost more b\c the cheap ones suck.

LMAO, the daytime running lights are your brights. the xenons go in your lights that turn on at night. you can put new bulbs in your brights, but thats retarded.

Exactly, I had the cheap xenon bulbs in my car for a month, and when I replaced them with silverstar ultras, the harness was brown, almost black...I think if I would have had them in there for another month, the harness would have been fried. The cheap bulbs run at a lot higher wattage, mine were 91 watts a piece...bad idea

I have the 2000 model and from what I know the low beams was used in the 2003-2004 models.
So my drl's are the same lights that run at night arent they?

Ok so i've ordered the HID super xenon or whatever kit with 800x (or something like that) power.. It should be ok shouldn't it?
How is it going to work at the day? would it just work weaker like the usual lights?
