Muffler
Hi,
I would just like to ask which muffler do u guys recommend on for the Alero (prices can be good too)?
And did any of u try a Remus muffler? and how did it sound like?
I'm thinking of installing one...
Thanx alot.

whaddup dude, everyone on here seems to be going with a super 40 series from flowmaster, but I got a magnaflow on my car, so it just depends cuz everyone is gonna have different opinions.
If you wanna be unique id get a hooker muffler for a camaro/trans am 1 inlet 2 outlets so u could run a dual tip set up, in my opinion those mufflers sound awesome and arent expensive
just depends, there are many exhaust companies out there, just gotta find the one u want ya know?
check out www.jegs.com or www.summitracing.com

I went to another preformance shop around here and they suggested me the Remus 0596T muffler...
Anyone heard of it? And when i'll be swtiching the muffler i'll be switching to strait - shaped muffler instead of the original width - shaped muffler is there a chance to harm the car in some way? because i think the people who built the car placed it like that for a reason...

I can't get a flowmaster or magnaflow or any of the stuff u have over there... seems like Remus is my only option... When i say a remus muffler i mean a free-flow muffler that makes more noise.

Try that, is you have the 2.4 there isn't many clips but if you have the 3.4 there are more. Youtube would also be a great place to look.

If its just a muffler it will not hurt the car, and with enough effort any will fit.

dude, i hate to say it but ur gettin ripped the hell off. Do what I told you to do, get a muffler for a camaro/trans am 1 inlet 2 outlets, it would be like 150 or so dollars, take it to a shop and youll still have money in ur pocket left over from what u would pay for that remus piece of shit
