If you're gonna go through the trouble of doing angel eyes you might as well do projectors at the same time. Or if you're not gonna do projectors you might as well just get some silverstars, they'll give you the same visibility but they won't piss off everyone else on the road.

that is what i was thinking. projectors will help you see a little better but i seem to recall that are cars have good enough housings to have HIDs w/out projectors.

Comparing un-lensed HIDS to silverstars is like comparing Apples to dog shit..
My HID's are way brighter than stock ANYTHING..
Yes I know projectors are great, and would benifit..
But for the average joe, they dont have the time to MAKE a set of projectors..
If someone out there made projectors, I would have bought them..
Since they dont, I dont.. I dont have the time, yet I have the skill..
Your just being anal..
And yes, as stated many times..
The higher up in kelvin temp. the less bright..
Stock HID's are usually 4500k
The brightest are 2500k-3000,k but they throw VERY VERY VERY bright yellow light..
4500k lights are about 20 percent brighter than 8000k
Go drive your Mazda, stop bitching at us alero owners.. Your bitter about your alero.. WE GET IT..

Simmer down, who's even talking about the Mazda? I don't get what your fetish is with bringing that up. I'm just saying if you're gonna do the job do it right, don't half ass it. Whether it be on an Alero, Mazda, BMW, Kia it doesn't matter. Just do the job right the first time.
If you're cars not suited for a mod then don't do it.

Yeah but I dont think the projector is like a MUST do for a HIDs mod and i think that what the guy was refering to is more like your general "bashing aleros" posts...

Wow... that is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. It doesn't matter if you spend $300 or $300,000 if the job isn't done right. If you don't understand why you need projectors to properly aim HID bulbs then that just puts you in the same category as that punk kid with more money than brains.
