Could it be fuel pump or electrical?

I have an issue with my 2000 alero gls. When I drive after driving about 5 miles or so the car sputters/chokes when I give it gas. I initially though it may be fuel filter or fuel pump. So I changed the fuel filter to start and drove for a while and thought the problem was fixed But as I pulled into my complex and it starts doing it again. What has me thinking it may not be fuel pump is that if I start the car and gun from 0 to 80 it runs fine. But after a little while of driving it starts to choke/sputter like its not getting fuel.

Any ideas?

how many miles are on it? does it have bosch plugs in it? If it does have bosch plugs, chage them out for something better.

it has about 88,000 mile and Im not sure about the pugs but Ill look at em and try changing those.
