I've seen the blue light bulbs that light up bluish white used as reverse lights, I wanted to know if theyre legal in TX, since they light up white, but idk if theyll allow Blue to reflect in your reverse light housing?

Blue lights are not street legal on any civilian vehicle - period.
If you want to risk it, you're on your own.

Exactly. Blue Lights are reserved for either Police or Volunteer Firefighters, depending on your state. Driving with even the tinted blue lens on your car could get you pulled over.

Well, yes, in a word. Neons are technically for off-road use only, but no cops really enforce it unless you go overboard. Just dont put a neon tube in your rear/front window, otherwise you will generally be fine...

Damnit. I had intentions to mount a Blue Tube on the rear Windowsill thing between the two speakers, And hook it into a Beat Sensor.
So that one is going to be illegal?

yes, my friend used to have those on his a-pillars and back deck and got pulled over and yelled at because it "looked like he was an undercover cop with a siren on"

that is very illegal. if a cop see that, they could nail you for impersonating an emergency car and is a federal offence, i know this b/c ive gotten pulled over 3 times for putting neon blue tubes up on my roof in the far back up against my rear window and i got the same speach all 3 times about it being a federal offence for possibly impersonating one. so ya, dont do it!! as long as the lighting that is inside the car is not shinning above the bottom of your door windows, they are legal then but if they can see it from outside the car, your screwed if you catch an anal cops eye

Exactly. You will be pulled over for anything that distracts other drivers while your vehicle is in motion. They would only be active when you're backing up, which is when you WANT to distract, i.e. draw attention to yourself. And chances are you're backing out of a parking space or parallel parking, so they are only on momentarily and the person creeping down a row at Wal-Mart are gonna notice the car in their path and the brake lights before they even notice the blues. A cop would have to be a real twat to pull you for something so miniscule. Come to think of it, why waste time on a "mod" that's on for 5-10 secs at a time.

This may sound silly but that first part...I was almost was given a fix-it ticket for in WI. Apparently we have a law here that says no part of the body may go below the bottom of the rim. Sprint springs + bodykit + a little thicker sidewall = speech from cop. It was probably a good thing I had 3 other things to fix by then, so he let me go.

I got a ticket once for modifying the original design of the vehicle, and it was a effn park police. then he also gave me a ticket for loud muffler, and no lisence plate on the front of the car.

If you get a ticket for this kind of stuff is it considered a moving violation if the cop notices when your driving?

I think it depends on the state. here in WI, we have seperate ticket for the front plate, not sure on the other violations.
