Dangers of driving with LIMG Leak?
Aside from the loss of oil. what are some of the other dangers of driving with the bad LIMG while awaiting repair?

Depends how bad it is... if you lose oil into the coolant, your coolant will get oily and might not cool as well. Or all the oil will be gone from where it belongs and cook your engine. If you're losing coolant to the oil/engine, same thing - water doesn't lubricate well, and you need it to keep the engine cool. If it's just seeping, probly not a big deal. I put some Bar's Leak in mine for a little while before I could get it fixed and that helped some.

Well...
there could be oil getting in your coolant and mr. piston doesn't like that at all. j/k
Its complicated but its like saying what are the danger of losing oil...
seizure is one of those dangers. I know you don't want to have to pay more than you already owe to get it fixed right.
Don't put off for tomorrow what you can do today...

If I could do it today, I would. I'm not a effing moron as far as upkeep on my car goes.
Its parked as of now...but I don't have 1100 dollars sitting around, nor does my job give that to me in the next 4 weeks, and I don't have the area to do it myself, or the knowhow for that matter.

Don't worry boss. I am not attacking you. If you try you may be able to do it yourself and for 1100 that is really high.
Should be maybe 4 or 5 hundred.

A friend of mine with a 3100 Malibu had the leak and didn't know it.
He cooked his motor so much, it cracked the block

I got lucky. my low oil light came on, and of course, when i noticed 3 quarts of oil gone in 3000 miles and no puddles under my car, i immediatly looked inside the coolant tank and found the chocolate milk substance. It seems to be pretty bad, put 3 quarts in...still trying to determine whether or not to trade it in after a system flush, or just get it fixed.

like was said losing oil and corrupting both systems is a problem, my brother left his go after i told him to get it fixed, the car ended up firing a rod through the bottom of the block, not pretty. But that was after driving it for 3 months that way. Put some bars leak in it and keep an eye on your oil, maybe change it a little more than regular and cross your fingers. Where are you located? Cause $1100 is uber high. If you were close to me i would do it for around $250 plus materials.

Jersey is a bit expensive...
Call around a bit.
Try Craigslist?
You might be able to find a mechanic that you could take it over, help/watch and a few hundred bucks.
The LIMG is a highly common problem on all GM V6's. So keep that in mind.
Garages know this. I would still look more... Or for under $200 you could buy the tools and parts and get it done.

Problem being i have no place to do it. I'd be willing to learn, but still stuck without somewhere to work. The ho also needs other work too, some suspension stuff, ignition.

My car ran like crap when I drove it for a week before I brought it to the shop. The engine is going to start making a ticking noise, your car will shake a lot when stopped at lights or just in park, and your not going to have oil (all ='s not good). Get it fixed and pay the money. I just paid $1500 to get mine fixed 2 weeks ago (luckily he knocked $200 off of the bill).

$1500 for a gasket install? I put in a whole engine with 30k on it for only $900.

cost me 450 ish dollars to get it fixed... If you do it yourself it will be a lot cheaper, but if you are not sure how to do it, I would get it done by a pro.

find someone to do it for you cuz its a waste to have a garage do it....its not really that hard to figure out either...as long as you know your basic engines
