new user alert
well i was doing some rereach on an alero that i was looking at and signed up.
looks like theres alot of good people here. to bad the alero sold on me. while my parents were trying to convince me to get a civic.
i hope i can learn from you guys/gals, when and if i can find another alero or grandam sense they are roughly the same car. with differant sheet metal of course.

the grandam is the sister car of ours if I'm not mistaken... You'll notice that a few people on here have grandam side mirrors on their cars. Welcome to the site. Glad to see you didn't get the civic and go all rice on us. lol

didnt get it, it got sold while my parents were trying to force me to a civic  im in the serch of one now, then comes convinceing my parents thats it better then a rice rocket. and worth spending more money on, sadly i can afford to by a car on my own right now.
i guess i should have put this in the first post but
im bryan 18y/o highschool student going back for my 5th year. my nickname is steve. currently i drive either my moms 2007 escape or my dads 2003 F-150

yeah, i have a stock everything (no mods yet) and i hate the sound system.
i really am not rushing into doing stuff to it becuase i'm waiting to see if i want to invest in a new transmission and body work to fix some rust thats starting... if you end up buying one, make sure you check EVERYTHING out. like, look in places you wouldn't usually look and if something doesn't seem quite right, follow ur instinct. the alero was my first car and i learned alot about what to look for in a used car.

I noticed a lot of young people have been joining this site that dont have much money.......YOU BETTER START SAVING SOME MONEY SO YOU CAN MOD THE ALERO!!!! ;-) ALL the money i get goes towards my alero....Its an addiction :-/ haha

insurance is a killer, i havent ben able to get a quote for a car thats below 3grand CAD. a 4 door Alero GL v6 is going to run me roughly 3480/y only for PLPD (cheaper then a damn civic though) thats if its in my name and every thing.

My insurance is running roughly $128 a month. So not bad...It is through statefarm. I got my own, and Im only 20...so just look around on the insurance part, I have 01 sedan with V6.... Welcome aboard... And hope you get an alero!
