Dash Lights Area

Can anyone tell me if this area is a sealed unit or can a person get in there to work on it? I need to get in there to see if I can get the gas gauge needle below the upper peg. It is stuck above the peg so it doesn't show the proper amount of fuel in the tank. Any help on this is much appreciated. Thanks alot.

Just pull the plastic trim around it off, unscrew the 4 screws (you need a socket wrench for that) and pull the cluster out. Then I'm not sure after that. lol but that gets the cluster out of the dash.

It all comes apart...pretty easy to figure out when you look at it

Dash lights cluster

What I am wondering is if the plexi-glass on the front of the cluster comes off so you can get inside it to work on it?

yeah it does, once you get the cluster out, the glass just unclips off the assembly

the clear part is glued to the black plastic around the gauge face, but it unclips from the gauges to give you access to the face...but be very careful with it, those needles are fragile
