Best year/model
Right now I have a 99 and I like it, cept I am havin troubles with this one in particular. Anyway, among other things that have happened to my car prior to my ownership, I get shatty MPG. bout 16 in town easy driven. I am lookin at tradin it in, and I want to know what the best model/year for MPG is.

should all be the same year wise... however, a smaller motor will give you better MPG so go with the ecotec which is like 02-04 I believe.

do you have the 4 cyl or the 6 cyl right now? If its the 4, you shouldn't be getting quite that bad. IF you want mileage, get an alero witht the ecotec.

Newer would be better IMO. the parts are newer, in better conditon, usually less miles. If i got another alero i would go with an 03-04. Coupe. teehee =D

If you only get 16 in town with easy driving you're definition of easy driving is a little off, or there's something wrong.

Don't lay on the gas and go the speed limit.
Its a 2.4 and the car I am sure had a couple scrapes in its past. The garages around here do not seem to know what they are doing, so I try to stay away from them.
I was thinkin ecotec and I want a little newer with less miles anyway

You could have a problem with an injector, or possibly the coil cover.

I dont know what KM is in miles but on easy driving i cant get her over 250 miles to the tank.

I get 180-220 usually, but like I said the car has other issues as well as 155k on it

Well since my fuel gauge decided to stop working again im getting 300 miles at half a tank  I have ran out of gas at 340 mile the first time it quite working so when its at half i fill it up. V6
