2 more weeks!!!! woohoo!!!
2 more weeks till my crank is done!!! Then the bottom end can begin balance and assembly.
Bottom end consists of
3400 block
3500 crank (forged steel)
Scat 800hp SBC Forged Steel Rods
Stock Compression Wiseco Pistons
ARP Rod Bolts
ARP Head Studs
ARP Main Studs
Custom Comp Camshaft (race grind)
Custom Drysump parts here and there
oh yeah and i dropped the 65 tranny and have a fully built 5 speed I am swapping in....
I'll try to get pics of all the parts before the assembly...

You know what that car really needs? A sweet hood like the one in your sig. Heck, I think I have one in my garage exactly like it if you need it, complete with the heat extractors.

I'm not sure what you're getting at.. that's his car in the signature, which means he has a "sweet hood" like the one in his sig.. complete with those hood scoops. o_O

part of my new setup i'm buildling for better performance and longevity, not to mention the new really shallow oil pan makes the routing of custom headers much easier and more productive......
oh yeah but if you build an ecotec, you can buy a dry sump setup ready to bolt on from ARE

well, i hate to speculate but somewhere north of 400whp for sure.....
the tranny was built for 500whp daily driven.......and the motor is being built for consistent abuse in the 15-20psi range....so we'll see.....

yeah sorry, had some problems with the regrinding of the crank, i'll keep you all updated
one my built 5 speed should be all ready to install by the end of january, i'm pushing for a march - june timeframe to be done, we'll see where we are at, i got a decent chunk of college money my wife said i could use to try to finish the car........
