with sheetmetal the edges can be rolled to give the thicker look and still look good.

Now to have the originals copied we are looking at a lot. make mold for the 2 cast alum pieces, have the tips poured, machined, welded, polished.

i was told you would be looking at least $300 for the tips if not more.

however doing in sheetmetal and having them chromed would be a lot cheaper.

If you know a kid in a vocational high school taking 'machine shop,' you can get them for free.
