Can any of the moderators get in touch with paulyb via e-mail? He has his e-mail blocked for access from aleromod. He doesn't come on here as frequently as some of us. I need to try and schedule for the donor car for this buy.
When I try to email him it say to contact a moderator for possible help.

OK, I got a call back from bodykits tonight. They received the pictures that Scot e-mailed to them yesterday which is great! Here is an update on the kit.
For those that asked, the kit will be made of roughly 1/4" of hand laid fiberglass over most of the piece, it may vary in some areas due to curves or whatever.
The spoiler will NOT be a bolt-on as originally stated, this is due to my listening skills. It can be done in bolt on if we desire, but will be made to adhere with 3M Double sided adhesive(supplied) that is used by many of the major car companies. That is a relief, because I didn't want to drill holes in a car based on a template. Been there/done that with with one of my 442's, ughhh.
The guys at bodykits are ready to go on this kit, they love it. We still need to finalize a donor that can have their car in California to work on for about 6-7 weeks. I have still not heard back from paulyb as to his status and his email that is on record is no longer working, so if there is anyone else with an all stock Alero with no bumper or side skirt damage that wants to earn a free body kit, just let me know.
We can start this baby a movin as soon as we have a donor car in California.

Jose what have you heard from your commanders? Gr1m, not much I can do if they don't get back to me.
I think Jose will be our best bet, he's a military guy, (Submariner's who are among some of the best men on earth) it all depends on his commander letting him drive down to L.A. to deliver the car.

Why don't you call a shipping company, you have a lot of free time on your hands? You get a free kit however. $1K value with shipping for free, might be an enticement.

I'm not out of the running yet, but it depends on timeline. I got some stuff that I'm waiting on to arrive before I have it up and running again, and that stuff won't get here until after the Christmas holidays. After that, I have to final tune, then we should be good.....how long is everyone willing to wait? And the car should be down for 6-7 weeks for fitting you say? I translate that to 8-10 weeks.

I have just came across this offer. I am interested in this. Does it matter if you own a 4 door alero? Is the kits side skirts being molded to fit the twodoor alero?

It will work on both the coupe and sedan. They are the same length.

JoseRivas19 had offered his car as a backup donor car, he got the OK from his commander to drive his car from his base in Washington State to L.A.
He heads out to sea in his submarine(Go Navy)on Feb19th. His car received a little gouge in the rear bumper on Saturday, courtesy of some ass at a Walmart. I sent off pictures of the car to bodykits to see if that would get in the way, because it doesn't look to bad.
If they give it a good to go, I would like each guy in the group buy to donate $25 towards his gas and food for the journey from Wash St. to L.A. I think it's only fair.
He would bring it down there around Feb 15th.
Below is a pics of Jose's car with the damage.
