Side skirts still attach to the Alero in the same fashion Nick. There is no difference in the front bumper on the Alero's as Marc has stated.

Loan Update: Hey guys, I just wanted to update you on the results of my meeting this morning. The loan we're trying to secure involves 3 parties: A Bank, The USDA, and Myself. Each party is responsible for bringing a certain percentage of cash to the table, first the bank, then the USDA, and finally me. What ends up happening is this: The bank decides if they will fund their percentage first, then it goes to a USDA committee, where they decide if they're going to come to the table with their portion. Once these parties are ready to go, a local USDA guy has to give it the green light, then I throw my money down and we go all out. They told me that we're probably "a couple of months" out (no surprise to those of you that have worked with the lending industry before) before we're funded. On a lighter note though, one of my advisors happens to be the banker and the president of the commitee, so things should progress past these stages fairly seemlessly. Now the good news! I'm not going to sit around and wait for this project to fund while my pieces sit and wait (which is what I've been advised to do), what the hell good is that? I'm going to continue working on them every night after work and get these things out to you guys one way or another.

The front bumpers are the same. I believe that (now this is going way back to when the forbidden kit came out) the 99's had mounted differently than newer ones. I'm pretty sure they had different mount points.

drill? the forbidden bumper only use 2 bolts on each side.. unlike the stock 3 mounts holes at fenders. Theres only 2 threaded metal tabs in the forbidden bumper. So ur third one will be mounting to nothing cuz its not strong where that last hole is.

99 had different style side skirts. that is it. i have disproved this whole damn thing with the side skirts by mounting crazy's side skirts on my car. 2001 4dr side bolts and clips right up to a 99. the bumpers are all the same. where other companies have gone wrong is making a mold off the bumpers off the car. a proper mold has to be made off the car not by the bumper by itself.

You just wont stop bashing this will you? Seriously do your research before you accuse me of something I can prove.
This isnt even an arguement. When i had my forbidden kit my back bumper had a small ledge under the taillight (about 3/4") and my sideskirts required the door to be "rolled". Now when Travis bought it off me (who has a 99) it fit on his car seemlessly. (original bumper the forbidden kit was made from is a 99) As it was already said the side skirts are different also. So please do not bash me on something I know. There's a reason i said it.
Plus please explain to me whats wrong with fitting it on each year just to double check anyway? You act like im feeding the board lies when in reality I'm double checking our quality before it shows up to your door.

the side skirts were designed for a 2dr not a 4dr and you know that so no year was the reason you had to roll the rear doors. There NO DAMN difference in mounting between sides skirts. if the side skirts that are made follow the same line as the OSV or even stock point by the door there will be no issue. How many times must someone say this shit before anyone actually listens and stop being hard headed about it. i can show a pics, hell come over to my house and i will install a 01 4dr skirt and a 02 2dr skirt on my 99 and prove to you.
Far as bumpers Marc, there is no difference the only difference is the forbiden bumper. the fitment is not a year thing. hell i'll put bdyman's 02 bumpers on my car and prove the theory is not true. Ever think maybe your bumper wasn't installed right.
now i supose i am bashing you. he didn't bash you but due to past issues you jump to conculsions.
Now checking each year may not be a bad thing but ever heard of making a mountain out of a mole hill. No matter if you check 5 cars from ever year there will be a few fitment issue if someone car was in an accident.

The problem is, my car was never in and accident and the fitment issue is true. It was installed correctly on mine. There arent to many different ways to put a bumper on. Also when we test fitted it on his it slid right into place with no ledge.
If i am making a mountain out of a mole hill then great! I guess that means im willing to go the extra steps to make sure the bumpers fit all years and models correctly. I dont get why you guys keep swearing like this is a bad thing. If you guys have your kit made dont worry about test fitting it and ship em out if thats the way you want to work it. Personally I wont when im selling a product to a consumer when fitment issues are the #1 problem with a bodykit because of unknown differences that are invisible to the naked eye.

I thought I already responded to this comment but my old and feebile mind might be mistaken. If you think that was bashing you, your crazy, you'll know when I've bashed you.
You've been doing the Alero thing long enough to know their have been no fitment issues on bumpers from various years except crappy made counterfeit foreign made bumper replacements.

cant seem to let anything go eh?
fine your always correct, every year of every bumper and side skirt fit every year the same. Sorry to have ever doubted your mastery in alero bodywork. Is that what you wanna hear? Doesnt matter how much proof there is, you beleive whatever you want anyway
Im still doing my test fits regardless of what you think.
