alero tt?

So as my accounts grow and i get ready to start actually getting to my build, can our cars be twin turbod? Ive never heard anything about it, obviously there would be a ton of incidental expenses, but those aside, the simple concept of twin turbos, is it feasable?

anything is possible with the right amount of money, but that doesnt make it realistic or smart.

Yeah it's realistic. If you have the money and fabrication skills, or know someone with the fabrication skills, it could work very well with the proper size turbos and proper setup.

It would be worthless. A single turbo will make more power than the tranny can handle or you can hold traction with, which makes two completely unnecessary.

seems like it would be a very tight fit and possibly have heat issues?

Twin Disco Potatos (GT2860RS) would be perfect. They'd spool very fast and give you the airflow potential for around 700hp, plus they're small enough to not take up a ton of space. Obviously to push those big numbers you'd need a built engine and transmission, but you could easily run low boost on the street, say...10-12psi, and get some good power out of it while taking advantage of the very fast spool up. Get the exhaust manifolds and turbine housings ceramic coated, then wrap them up good with exhaust wrap and that'll take care of all the extra heat under the hood. Add in larger fuel injectors, some way to tune them and a good tune and you have a pretty powerful and responsive twin turbo 3400.

That's exactly what I would do if I had the V6.

I was looking at one of them for a single turbo system they are good for up to 320 hp. with the fast spool up I think it would work well for a daily driven turbo 3400

A lot. I have no idea the exact amount. The turbos alone are almost $1100 a piece. You could always use GT2554's instead which are about $900 a piece. They will drop the power potential to around 500hp but they're smaller and will spool faster. Then you have charge piping, intercooler, exhaust manifolds, exhaust piping, injectors, PCM tuner, and a bunch of other things....I'd say you're talking probably $4000 or more for a good quality setup. But remember, everything has to be fabricated. It would in no way be a "bolt on in a weekend" type kit.

A single GT2860 on a 3.4L engine would be way too small and restrictive on the exhaust. They're meant to be used on something like a 1.8L engine as a single. Something like a GT3582R would be a good size to use as a single on the 3400.
