New Issues, Few Questions, Need Results
So today I went to Autozone and had them run the codes for my car because the check engine light was on. It threw two 0185 codes, apparently for a malfunctioning front O2 sensor. I think that is what it means, shit i cant remember. But NEWays, when I am driving my car, and give it hell, it bogs down, deep throaty noise, kinda sounds like it is choking. I think it may be the catalytic converter has too much carbon build up. NE one know if that is my problem... Also, I was wondering if putting a straight pipe in where the catalytic converter is will cause any more issues than I have now. I live in Illinois so inspections are not an issue. And finally, I know everyone asks this question, but i do not want to look through all the threads, what type of muffler would give it a deep voice. My friend has 2002 Grand am GT, and he just built a y pipe and put on 2 tips, no muffler at all. Could I do that along with the straight tube in place of the cat. Thank you all for your help, Caleb Walker
