Question window problem ...

I noticed today that when I put up my driver's side window (down is no problem), it makes a popping sound (like if you cracked your knuckles) when I first put the button. It goes up and down fine and after the initial pop, I don't hear it again (until I press the button again). Has anyone had this problem? Can it lead to something bigger, or is it a sign of something bigger? I can tolerate it now, I just don't want to be ignoring an indicator of a bigger problem ...

Jess
