in the market for a new HU
I am thinking of getting a new HU with gps for tha car. would like to spend arounf 300-400 (more for the right one) and get a 7" touch screen if possable. any Ideas ? pleas include links

if you want a screen you could do a carputer. i think 2fst4u is one of the only ones left that has one....

Walmart or ebay. Look for a factory navigation headunit I think i saw one for 350.

that jensen at walmart isnt that bad. my buddy has had one for over 3 years now

They have a GPS one there... Thats what i was talking about.

That kenwood HU a member on here has...I think it is telcart with the buick..anyway that one is very nice, and I wouldn't mind having one.

I was looking into these a while ago as well. I was over at walmart and was looking at both the "Jensen" and the "Dual". I did some research on the two and if you do wind up going with one of those two models DO NOT go with the Dual. From the reviews I've read they aren't very responsive. I dont know about you but when Im driving i dont want to be pounding on a screen because its not picking up the touch.

I know Mike (Cargodz) and Terry (smoker) are both dealers and have a lot of options for equipment. You might just get a decent deal.

don't have gps but figure I will get that seperate so I can switch it to a diff car/van if I want.
