installing new pulleys

i recently got myself a lightweight underdrive crank, and lightweight alternator pulley for my 2.4. the place that was going to install them for me has since changed its mind, and this is now something i have to do myself. i was wondering how difficult this was, and what tools and time were needed. seems like there is good access to the pulleys once the wheel is off, so hopefully it is a fairly easy task. any advice would be great. thanks in advance.

your gonna need a pulley puller... and what ever sized sockets and tools that come with the job

Air tools will make things 100x easier.

im sure they would...dont got any tho. anyone know about how long it woyld take for someone with basic tools, and no experience?

No idea but make sure you get a big ass breaker bar cause it is going to take some torque to crank down the pulley removal tool.

just a regular 3/8 ratchet it never failed for me SO FAR

^why bother having to use all that arm strength, if you have access to a breaker bar. brains over brawn ftw.

and with the puller, most places make you buy it and then you can return it for a refund.

ya, i know about that with the puller. got a couple friends who work at garages, might see if i can borrow one from them for the day. this sux tho since i was gonna have the place my brother works at do it for $50. and id rather spend a little money than a ton of aggravation...
