Hi
Hello fellow Alero owners. I'm 17 and I just bought a 1999 Alero from my uncle, it will be my first car that I've owned.
It's a little dinged up right now, but I plan on getting the dents fixed and repainting it. I want to get it silver with blue racing stripes , and eventually add cold air intake.
So far we've gotten new breaks put on it.
The car I've been driving lately is a Sebring Convertable, and though I will miss my Sebring dearly, I must admit Aleros are fun, very powerful!
Anyways, hello!

About 30 minutes away from the Louisville Kentucky area, where I actually got lost today. I got so mixed up trying to navigate my way back home.

Ah cool cool
I can't wait to get started painting/fixing up. This is going to be a fun project
Painting/Stripes
CAI
Fixed dent
Maybe some new speakers
I love cars so getting to work on my own and fix it up is much more gratifying than just buying one.

i think if you do it tastefully, it will look good. get some colors that complement each other and some racing rims that are simple and sleek and it will be awesome. i wouldn't suggest any wing other than the stock one tho..
"Yenko stripes went on after the seventh coat. If anyone is wondering, Yenko Stinger stripes are 1" inch stripe, 1" inch space, 6" stripe, 1" space, and 1" stripe. The front can either taper down to a narrower main stripe or stay a constant width down the front of the car." -taken from $50 paintjob
i think that stripe would look good if it wasn't tapered and was off-centered to the right or left (i don't know what side stripes usually get put on)

Welcome to the site. Would be ricey if you did decal stripes not real paint. Maybe someone can photoshop what you want and we can all see how it might look.

I don't care. If you do stripes they have to be ghosted in. Like a lighter silver on silver.
White looks good on red cars. Silver/gray looks good on black cars. Blue does not look good on silver cars. Take a look at SilentAlero's blue on silver theme.
