so my resonator has rusted out. In terms of replacement I have heard that a cherry bomb makes a decent option. I have a magnaflow muffler and am more concerned about power than I am sound, any input?

Disregarding sound, I'd replace the stock resonator with a straight pipe. If you want it to be somewhat quiet, you could get a straight through resonator to put in it's place, but not a cherry bomb. Get one from Magnaflow or Vibrant.

so you have 2 mufflers, should sound good, mine does, quiet yet high flow

I have a vibrant 18" reso for sale....pm if you are interested i really want to get rid of it
