yeah i know that too but i want some specifics weight can be a huge difference or a minor one depending on the under bracing of the hood, also i already has an oem carbon fiber hood and it was nice but a scoop is way more desirable (i also guarantee my old cf hood is was lighter than these ones will be if they get produced because my old hood had no bracing at all, just the carbon fiber) now if people are looking for performance that is the way to go, personally though i think most carbon fiber hoods are for looks, i mean big deal if you save like maybe 50 lbs for $500-$600, the price you are paying is mostly for looks, bottom line.......just my 2 cents
