does the doog "sag".....close it slowly and see if the door goes up when it hits the striker..... if it does......get a jack and a block of wood. Put the jack under the door (not on the edge of the door skin, on the bigger edge inside the door....hard to explain....idk if you get what im saying). anyways, place it where the red in the picture is and jack up on the door....make sure you dont go crazy and jack it up high. This will solve your problem
IF the door is sagging. or you can loosen the striker A LITTLE BIT until you can move it, but dont loosen it so its hanging there

.....close the door with the handle pulled out (dont let go of the handle when you close it) then open the door again and tighten up the striker. That will move it into place.
Here is a pic showing you where to place a 4x4 piece of wood you should use when jacking up on the door. (its the green spot if you didnt know
