Afterfire.
Yea, my friends RX7 has afterfire and hes running stock engine with straight pipe exhaust (IN has no emissions tests)
anyways... I want to know how to achieve some bad ass flames popping outta my exhaust when I rev it, or when I am flooring it.
http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...st+flame&hl=en
something like that. I know its due to unburnt fuel buring from the exhaust heat, but how could I achieve this?

spark plug in the tail pipe wired up to a slight electrical power to it
or remove the catalytics and run straight pipes back to a can

It's not ricey.. that's hot-rod stuff, but on the wrong car.
Unless you've got duals and the sound to back it up don't even bother.

You should see my friends Cummins haha talk about wasting fuel he has plumes of black smoke pouring out. As cool as that would be.... I don't have diesel soo.. anyways....
I don't really care about gas too much, my best friends uncle owns sunoco. I'm not really supposed to talk about that though.
Ricer? what are you talking about! and no cav, you cant get in trouble for it in Indiana, we have no regulations on exhaust or emissions (other than sound pollution)
