my power seat on drivers side wont move

i moved it forward all the way to clean under the seat, and then i tried to move it back and its not working
this has happened before but it kind of fixed itself cuz it worked like an hour later, but its broken this time i think

any ideas?

If you need another power seat let me know. Or if you want to buy the motor and whatever goes with it. Hopefully you can get it fixed though.

gf had a similar prob, hehe probably not the same fix

in the track for the seating a screw got lodged in keeping it from moving back

she's got too many loose pieces in that car

check the track, else it could be a bad wire, bad motor

not sure what they run on these seats, it's the one prob with power seating

man.. compared to all your Aleros.. mine is a POS.. no power windows.. no power seats.. no remote lock.. don't have the compartment by the door.. map light.. :rolleyes:

Before the Aleros came out I had a 95 Ciera. Also had power seats. I did the same thing, and when I looked under the seat, I saw the power cord to the seat was too short and pulled itself loose. I plugged it back in and the seat moved again. Check the wiring, fuses, and test the connector under the seat for power with a meter.

i already checked all the fuses, wires, and track. all looks good to me.

definitely thank god for warranties, sounds like you need a new switch or motor. Not cheap I am sure.
