head lights

I will soon be clearing my head lights and I have a scuff on one from when my sister wrecked in to me. How do I go about gettin scuff out? I am assuming sanding with some kind of plast x or something?

ya if ur sister "wrecked" into your car i doubt its just a scuff on your headlight but im sure you could try sanding them from like a 300 grit and up and then polish it with something, not sure if that would work but you could give it a go

Ive used some fine grit on my headlight one day because I wanted to remove some scratches on them (cant remember but it was like 800 or 1500) and all I did was making the plastic looking more dull. I would not touch the headlights with sandpaper. But you know maybe its me that is completely unskilled with sandpaper.

but you said you're clearing them, so im pointing you in the direction of someone who has already cleared them, and who i think wouldnt care about a scuff.

Your welcome.
