lol
Most SPL guys dont fuse at the front.
Fuses create a volt drop and rob them of precious .1 dB.
Seriously.

They are fused at the front and the back. Most spl guys dont fuse because they gain a tenth or two. I fuse because I wont let my shi# burn up if it grounds out. The wire is 0/1 awg. 2 pos. and 2 neg. Most of the power will be pulled from the 6 batterys in the back.

Dumb to me but then again im not a spl guy. Besides its against most guidlines to put a fuse more than 12" from the battery. But to each their own.

Its a sad world they line in.
Thats why Im not a big on the SPL comps. 98% of the installs look to be done by Chimps... And the wiring... I dont even want to talk about that. I about puked at finals in Cleveland a few years back...

That 0/1 awg wire looks smaller than I thought. It looks about the size of my thumb in thickness. I am just comparing it to what looks like Stinger Bullet series RCAs laying next to them. I run 0/1 in my car right now and its big and not flexible at all.

The shop around here use to sell those exclusively around here, and I've seen plenty of them smoke from being under powered. Many of those crossfire amps in that series are underrated, and therefore are generally underpowered...which doesn't seem to be an issue here. Needless to say that shop is closed now...LOL! Can't wait to see more pics!!
.....I do like though how crossfire gives you the same amp as the previous series and just threw a new case on it.
