Last time I wanted Second Skin Damplifier ANT told me he would knock 20% off the price if I ordered direct...
The pricing for Second Skin is absolutely insane. I know I mentioned it to you, but I havent check prices in some time. $3-$2.25 a sq ft... F that.
For what its worth at this point Im going to try a few alternatives...
1) Peel & Seal
2) www.fatmat.com 100 sq/ft $130 SHIPPED w/roller/knife
3) www.mcmaster.com search # 9709T39 $1.39 sq foot
4) www.b-quiet.com 50 sq/ft = $85 = $1.70 sq/ft
5) www.edesignaudio.com $1/sq foot order as you like
Ranked in order...
But if I could get damplifier for $1 sq/ft shipped or cheap shipping, I would be down for 80-100 Sq ft.

well.. then i guess we do some research, as around and see what kind of deals we can get.
obviously we have quite a few of us looking for a great deal on mat.
and sorry ryan, i guess i misunderstood what you were saying before when you were talking about prices. (misread prices on various types)

i'm running fatmat, and so far it has done well. 50 sq.ft. did my trunk lid, trunk(including spare tire well) under rear seat and both front doors fully skinned.
doing the trunk helped immensely, i had alot of road noise and exhaust noise, had the run the system at higher volumes to drown it out, after the fatmat my car is much quieter system is much cleaner sounding, worth every hour and every penny.

50ft did all that?
if thats the case, i think we all need to adjust our numbers.
with the link ryan posted.. i'm just afraid of the adhesion problems fatmat might have with the freak heat and common cold we get here, year around. dark red car parked outside sealed up in the summer + subzero some nights in the winter...
i think the glue would break free after not too long.

ive had a cheaper dampener that my brother sent me the extra he had that has been on my trunk lid for well over a year and has never even come loose, just use the roller and wipe all the dirt off, depending on where you are putting it most will be lying down anyways and held down by the weight of other things like the back seat.

install it in smaller pieces, instead of the big pieces it comes packed in. and be prepared to get dirty.
