Advice/Research
I have a 1999 Oldsmobile Alero GLS Sedan with 98,000 miles. The car itself hasn't been all that great to me ie: gives me troubles with continuing to run after you first start it, and LOTS of rust ... that sort of thing. I have read online that there are many quirks that the 99 gls has, and they seem to start around 100k-110k miles. Has anyone else had major/annoying/expensive fixes to do on their '99 Alero gls? If so, could you let me know? I'm trying to figure out whether to keep the car or not before it nickel and dimes me to death.

I realized the first one was in the wrong area, and put one in the correct area, but couldn't figure out how to delete the first.

i find the rust thing wierd... must be a bad year or something... mine is an 01 and fairly rust free... granted it's 2 years newer but it was never kept immaculate and i offroaded and beat the hell out of it with no real issues...
