Things Needed for Turbo Setup
Turbo Manifold
Turbo
Blow off Valve
Intercooler
Down Pipe
What an I missing? This idea has been in my head. Right now I cant afford it, but it is something that Id like to know more about for maybe future use.

I was checking out the kits, and they look pretty good. It got good reviews from the ecotec forums as well. THe only thing I'd probably have to modify would be the plumbing. Or could I just use the Cavy piping?

At 8lbs, I dont think youd need much engine wise. Higher than that, and you will probably need engine reinforcement (Rods, pistons, etc...).

It is, but Im thinking you could fab your own piping, which should be the only that changes from auto to manual. Maybe you could get the pieces from the kit seperately and exclude the piping or something.

the price you pay for the hahn kit is worth it boost is addicting and there's proof in my cousin he started out with a Honda civic running 8 psi then 16 then 21, the car was running low 11's in 1/4 mile he sold that and started doing a turbo setup on a Yamaha Nytro sled.

Tuning is one of the things Im most afraid of, but I am sure that once I acquire the software, I should be able to handle it. There are plenty of forums that can help, and Im sure that some of the A-modders also have knowledge of this.
Nice find. Those are cheaper than the Hahn setup, and garret is pretty well known for turbos. I had heard of them before, I just didnt know they made a kit for the Eco. Are there any other cars you could scavenge? I was thinking some of the solstices have turbod ecos dont they?

Do you expect BIG performance mods to be cheap? cause if you do.....your in for a rude awakening.
You can go the cheaper route and have parts made for your set up like blackjack did but you need to know all the diff parts needed
