I dont know of any reason why they'd go on all the time unless the sensor on the dash was covered making it think it was nightime, all the time.

Check the threads for disabling the drl's, there is a post on how to test the resistance of the sensor. no reading= computer thinks it's dark. If it is burnt out (no reading) or there is crud on it (armor-all) then the system will think that it is dark. Check the sensor, and if you do get a reading from it, check the wiring to make sure the signal is getting to the computer.

thanks...i'll have to check that out. i know there is nothing covering the sensor, unless it's just really dirty. but hopefully it will be an easy fix.

I don't think you're that dumb, but you did check to make sure they were turned off, right?

I think you need to top up your headlight fluid.

Make sure to get the xenon stuff, it's worth the extra $$.

even though i'm only listed as a newbie, i'm really not that dumb. i usually only post things when i have a problem, and i've not had too many problems since the last time i had to recreate my profile... but thanks for the tip about the fluid. it was a little low.

The xenon stuff also goes good with gin & juice.
