It's actually OSV not OVS - Oldsmobile Specialty Vehicle.

Yeah that rim is in bad shape man, don't do anything crazy or you might get a blowout on that one. Also change your oil if you haven't done it recently, I can almost feel the sludge in that engine lol, and clean your engine bay.

Ah thanks. Yeah I've scheduled an engine flush at a garage. The oil's been changed in the past month and the rim is getting replaced here in a week or two. I've yet to get around to cleaning the engine bay out.

I wouldn't do an engine flush, I'd just do another oil change.... That will take care of it

hmm alright then. the engine flush was just to rid it of any grime the previous owner left in it. the interior was black when i got the car and took about three days worth of scrubbing and cleaning before I got it back to it's original color so I figured if the interior was that bad an engine flush might be needed.

don't bother flushing... but when you go turbo, maybe get the old engine parts cleaned well (hot tanked)
..well... the ones you aren't replacing with "performance" versions.

Yeah, the flushing not only can be a waste, it can be harmful too when it breaks loose too much gunk all at once. One good cheap and easy way to do an engine flush yourself, is to buy a cheap quart of ATF and put it in your engine the day before your next oil change. The ATF has similar lubrication properties to oil, but is corrosive enough to break down excess sludge and grime without causing damage to the seals and gaskets if only used for a short period of time.

Welcome!!
Just a thought: dashmats are gay. How about you use a windshield visor? They are kind of a pain in the butt, but they are effective and shade the rest of your interior. And they don't look as gay as a dashmat.

I would avoid the dashmat if you can. I'm sure someone here's got a matching airbag cover though. Also just a thought, but depending on how you glue it down, since they don't stay in place, it might inhibit the airbag.
