Awesome Wheel Bearing!

So i installed a new wheel bearing on the drivers side yesterday and everything went smooth. Today, when i start driving the bearing makes a really loud humming noise. When i turn right the noise is gone. Even the tiniest bit to the right and the noise is gone. But, if i turn to the left the noise is still there. It didn't make the noise before so it must be something i did yesterday. I torqued every bolt to its recommendation specs. Does anyone have anyideas whats going on before i take it apart and look at it again?

If you only changed one, are you sure that was the bad one? Sounds dumb I know but it happened to me. All the signs I had pointed to the passenger side bearing being bad so I bought a new one and changed it out only to find I still had the same noise. I then put the bearing that I removed from the passenger side on the driver's side. No more problems aside from the speed sensor that has now gone out probably on the driver's side bearing.

The noise is coming from the drivers side. It didnt make that noise before when it was bad the sensor went off and all my dash lights came on. i ran the code and it said it was the drivers side hub.

The passenger side is bad.

Whatever direction you turn, if that direction makes it quiet- its that bearing.

Ive been through a few bearings now...lol

My last 3 were like that, where you turn left and its goes quiet, bad bearing on the left. For some wacked out reason the right one went louder when turning right this last time. So I changed the left one and ended up having to change the right one as well...lol all good now(maybe they were both bad or I screwed up this time). I seem to change out the bearings every time I change the rotors and pads. Expensive brake jobs lol.
