This may be a dumb question but would you know ballpark what it may cost to fix the kit the way it is and install/paint it at a body shop? I know I could not tackle that project so I leave that to the pros but would like to know how much I should have saved once all is settled and kit is ready for install.

with how much time chris and I have in just the bumpers, and figuring a labor rate of $65/hour...........that puts you at $3,120.00 That is a ruff estimate. So if you add the wing and fixing the side skirts that we have.........oh wow........ probably add another $1500 at least. now all cost i gave you does not include materials. there you are probably looking at $800-$1000.
Chris can correct me if i am off but i estimate whole kit fixed and fitted and painted PROPERLY(important word here) probably $5k. More than likely everyone else won't be as anal as me and chris so it may cost less. but honestly if some shop says oh $1000-1500 i would worry.

the tip of the rear bumper is screwed up and does not fit correctly so we had to glass and shape the sob.

Thanks for the estimate. At that price it would take a few years of extra money to save to that level, better to put the money into house instead of car. Just have to wait and see if it is worth it down the road to even try to do this or scrap it and take the loss.

scot is right about the pricing, i have 5 days in the front bumper, and about 6 days in the rear bumper, the rear bumper..............well lets just say it needed allot of work, as you see
the ends of the bumper were so weak and one side didnt even fit right, so i had to re-glass and build one side up, and where the exhaust tips go................ummmm ya had to re shape the entire section, not to mention all the stress cracks, not to mention the poor fitment, it is allot of work
the rocker moldings.....WOW, the wings.....WOW, some shops that do nothing but install kits and do custom work once into the install of the kit would have to call the customer back and up the price, but i have to tip my hat to the company that made it from pictures it does look like the osv kit,
iam using PPG dbc system if anyone wants to know

well some of the work on the rear bumper has been worked out with the warping but not the exhaust area which bodykits said they will not fix and the tips are probably not fixed either.
