today was crazy. the homecoming show had a great turn out most were ours, then like... 4-5 that weren't.
we had a casualty of war. Hein-y got his eye messed up, but hes fine now. And the "death car" was a hyaundi.. that after 1.5 hrs w/o fluids was still running just fine. We left w/o hearing it croak.

update from the indiana caravan: we've been stuck in traffic for an hour just inside indiana. I guess a tour bus hit a minivan about a mile and a half up the road, some people didn't make it, so they've landed 2 lifeline helicopters on the highway so far, and traffic is stopped for as far as we can see behind us. so yeah, kinda sucks.

we made it home ok....... besides me almost killing me and my friends. i only got 4 hours of sleep the night before and i fell asleep while driving, almost went off a bridge in indiana. that was scary......so obviously i had my friend drive the rest of the way. We were only on the road for an hour when i got tired. but we made it back here safe, luckily my buddy was awake or we would probably be dead or seriously injured

seriously nate. stop. You weren't there. We don't need to keep hearing new reasons why. You weren't. End of story.
Also, i want to make a comment here. I NEVER again, want to ever hear any member(s) sharing stories/bragging about the street racing they did on the way to the show. I'm not going to name names, or point fingers. You know who you are, you know if you did it or not.. and yes, i may sound like a parent here, but thats only because you were acting like children. DO NOT endanger the lives of our members like that. We gladly set aside a spot for jackal who couldn't make it because of deployment... we don't need to set aside more spots with wreaths for members who were killed enroute to the meet. Not to mention the fact that most of our cars are pretty close to stock, and shouldn't be run at that level for engine/suspension/tire reasons. I don't want to hear excuses, reasons, anything. Don't even comment back. Just don't do it again. It's stupid and foolish. Y'all need to grow up and represent the club like it deserves.
