I understand the fear of water with the CAI, but I have had mine for some time now and Ohio has been drenched from storms or snow runoff and I have not had a problem yet. Was a bit nervous with this last slew of storms though when the streets of Akron were flooded and the downhill side streets looked like waterfalls...

From what I have come to understand, a WAI can be worse than the stock and especially not as good as a CAI. Yes it pulls more air than stock, but it is hotter air which defeats the purpose of the whole thing. Jackal is right, 30 bucks on ebay and you are out. They usually send you instructions with the thing too lol. I used chromeintakes from ebay and have been pleased with mine...

Though it says my K&N filter needs replaced every 10k miles. What's up with that?
