You are trying to stuff two 15" L7's in an Alero? From what I know, those things LOVE big boxes... And how much are you looking to spend on an alternator and amplifier? And to run those two L7's you will need a good electrical, have you considered a second battery? In order to run big equipment, you need the electrical to back it up or you will more than likely soon be throwing money away... :/

Dear God that's not even right fitting all of that in an Alero! Key statement bring, "it was a lot of work." This coming from someone with A LOT of experience in car audio. On that note, to the OP, honestly with the skill level that you are at right now, if it came down to it, you would probably be much better off in buying two 12" L7's as opposed to sacrificing airspace or squeezing the 15"s into a smaller box to compensate for what would be a BIG challenge of fitting everything.
Do you already have the subs?

The flames were a gift from my kids for dads day. Had to put them on.
The amp rack had slots cutout so the arms would slide under the amp rack

xsavyor1, that setup is nasty! I would love to see it in person, just to see how everything fit and was put together.

Mechman.com for the high output alt... I got one and charging volatge is usually 14.7 to 15.1 volts and at full tilt 13.6 is the lowest I have seen.
