neighboor backed into my car today
he damage doesnt look that horrible. my work quoted it at 774 dollars.. so im debating taking the oney since i could really use it right now and see what i can do myself with it.. i LOVE my vehicles because i only have my car and bike because of working for them. my car runs EXCELLENT for the age, with only 94xxx on the clock. so this really makes me mad cause i am so picky when it comes to my car.. what you guys think i should do??

I think it would only be fair to back into your neighbor's car even harder
The damage doesn't look that bad, how's your insurance?

Is it just the bumper?
I had my rear bumper repainted for $360 and I drove the car around for a week with no rear bumper

ouch, that looks bent out of shape. You can see the gap right under the tail light. This is definitely not a "that'll buff right out" deal. You gotta find out what's bent, then bend it back somehow, then just sand, wetsand and paint. not an easy task by any means.

owwww....take the taillight out and check if the housing is cracked on the side....i bet the light is broken somewhere.... it could have been worse, at least the bumper and quarter are repairable. looks like a 2hr dent, replace bracket, paint bumper and qtr....maybe replace tail. what did ur work say for the estimate? I wanna know if im close

Bracket isn't anything! If one under taillight is broken goto yard and grab one or I'll grab u one next time I'm there. To screws on the top lip of the bumper and 1 10mm nut in the trunk. If it's the beaker on the side it's actually metal could posb bend it back up into position. Or if worst it's rivited on drill out and do the same at a yard.
Bumper really doesn't look to bad on my cell. Just scratched up. Could easily wet sand and buff it out. Maybe alittle touchup paint.

I bet their riveted on.... also, wtf r u talkin about with the 1 10mm nut in the trunk????? If im not mistaken there are 3 10mm BOLTS that go down into the bumper on each side....and 1 10mm that goes UP into the quarter on each corner.... LOL... idk what your talking about, maybe something different and im lost Or your drunk hahahaha jk.

you want cheap you will get cheap results, and do you work for a shopm that will do it cheap, if so ask one of the tech if they do side work
775 is cheap, there is always more damage, parts labor nothing is free we dont touch the car with a magic wand and it fixes it self ya know

If the car were older and had more miles, I'd keep the money and look for one the right color whenever you happened to be in a junkyard. Or maybe from a part out here.
To make a better assesement I'd have to know what's the rest of the car like.

Pimp- i said the bracket ON THE BUMPER is riveted on. The one that makes it so the bumper stays on the car. and yea, i know the tails lights are held in by those plastic wing nuts.
worknprog-so, the bumper is just bowed out? idk, it looked like the qtr was pushed in a little....i guarantee when they take the bumper off there is damage to the qtr you just cant see it now. Its prolly pushed in a little bit but thats no biggie, just gotta pound it out. I thought the qtr was in cause there is no gap between the tail and the qtr on the bottom part of the tail..... eh, w/e....guess im crazy
