thanks

About the valve. I just read somewhere that there are problems with the the wrong valve being installed while on the assembly line, I just wanted to check if this mismatched valve could cause a loose and / or too easy feeling in the steering (wheel).

You wouldnt happen to know if the later 4cyl cars have the same hoses??? cause there is one wrecked Alero on the other end of Germany - perhaps I'll give it a try. But most times, its cheaper to get new stuff from the US.

the hose on a 4cyl will be made for a diffrent psi so it work and the motors and rack and pinion are set up diffrent so the hose would be bent diffrent so yea go with a new one.....and ive never heard nething about the bad valves the only problems i have had are my hoses ive replace them both and a pump twice so ive had plenty of ps problems

like which type to use....i always buy power steering fluid its bottled and labeled as power steering fluid...there are some with stop leak and other additives but the regular fluid works fine....you can also use transmission fluid if its all you have
