Check your oil filter BEFORE you buy it

I remember once I bought a camera from Walmart, it was defective, so I took it back. They didn't even check it. They just gave me a replacement no problem. I've seen people eat food from the store while doing their shopping, then before they go to checkout, they set the empty container on a shelf. It sickens me, but it's the world we live in now, and no one does a damn thing about it.

Lindsey and I eat food while shopping at Safeway all the time but we take the empty containers and check them out to pay for what we had just eaten.

i HATE when people do that. seriously... its impossible for you to NOT EAT for a couple of hours? (pregnancy is a different matter)

I do it all the time. usually when my blood sugar is low though, I'd rather not pass out in public

diabetics get a slight pass... but should take better care of themselves and know to eat ahead of time.

and if your not, get tested. Normal blood sugar shouldn't drop that low...ever.

I hate walmart, for many reasons. But when I lost my keys mowing the lawn I went to walmart bought a metal detector, went home found my keys, took the metal detector back to walmart and got my money back.

There is nothing wrong with doing that. As long as its not anything we need to weigh on a scale for a varying price. Don't let things bother you so easy lol.

I don't run over and slap them.... I just shake my head and keep moving. People will be people. I just hate seeing it, personally.

and TONS of things bother me. Its the wonderful world I live in.

Have you ever tried shopping when you are extremely hungry? Eating something in the store saves me easily $100 a month in groceries!

Update to the story.

Yesterday I stopped at Pep Boys to pick up an oil filter. I figured I'd buy an ACDelco Filter since I was there.

I opened the ACDelco box and the ring was fine, no oil, but the inside didn't look right. It was a PF-47E I'm not really sure what the "E" stands for, but over on Classicoldsmobile.com somebody mentioned that the "E" Delco Filters are cheap, crappy filters made in either Mexico or China. There was only 2 more on the shelf and they were both "E"'s as well. So I put it back and bought the Fram 3378 (or 3387 can't remember) with Oldsman's famous "grippy things" on the tip. It was clean, and a good ring on it so I bought it.

This is for mom's car. Mom's car is a 2001 Cavalier with the 2200 SFI engine. The filter is located on the right side of the motor almost directly under the plastic intake housing. The right side is next to the firewall and the filter is directly above the flex pipe.
