if the battery and alternator are on the way out
if your alternator original and battery are on their way out and you replace them with optima yellowtop and a quality high output alternator and replace the battery cables with thicker ones would you potentially see any power gains in the vehichles driving?

right. you'd probably only see power gains(hp gain, i'm assuming) if you had high power draw, or a REALLY beefed up engine

My high output alternator and optima yellow top battery did nothing for hp. If anything it gave me the balls to put 400lbs of audio over the back tires = slower car with 27 mpg where before I was getting 29 mpg.

your car would be more consitant and it would work a hell of a lot better. you won't notice any performance gains but you will notice your music and all instruments working better

The only way you could see an increase in power from this is if you were actually running so low that your spark was weak enough to cause you to lose power. However, this is highly unlikely, but it will be good to have all your electronics work and not have to worry whether your car is going to start on a cold morning.

not sure, but 99.7% good feedback with over 1000 reviews speaks pretty well for him.

I paid $165 for mine, so $170 is in the ballpark
