ok, new BCA bearings in hand.
i get to install them tonight.
we will see if this fixes it.

no, i will be installing the bearings tonight...
update in the morning..
it pisses me off.
bearings were, i thought, fine.
rode down to randy's and they started going..
we will see if that has been the issue the whole time...

ok here is my issue not to thread jack..but my cruise control works however the light "cruise" and the other lights (resume, cancel,etc) would not light up..the master on and off light is on...just the words are not lit...also my 3rd brake lights is illuminated dimly when its night without the brakes being pressed...anybody have an idea??

i'm pretty sure the words are just painted on, they don't light up....
and as for the 3rd brake light... sound like you have some power backfeeding through to that light. i'd check to see if any wires are touching/make sure the contacts are all clean (not corroded)

ok, so,
a rundown...
replaced both front hubs
replaced both front calipers
replaced abs servo
i have SVS, abs, trac light, the red brake light, low washer fluid and change oil lights on...
so,
no abs
no trac control
no cruise
anything else i can look at????
p.s. yes, i know how to fix the last two lights... hahah..

my beretta did this it sounds weird but put your ebrake on till its just bairly engaged now hit up reverse and start moving back add more and more too the ebrake and gas untill it almost locks up and then a nice hard stop goin forward and it cleans / aligns the sensors no clue how but seems to work

parts so far: 10000k hid heads and fogs, alpine INAW900, bluetooth, backup camera, alpine mrp-m2000, 18fi btl, 270amp mechman alterntor, 2 Redtop Batt's, all LED lights and color changing signals white/amber (every bulb other then dummy lights) and limo back 3 and 20% in the front and tinted tails

My cruise only works when I hold down the cruise button as well, must be a common issue, I ended up just jamming a screw to hold it down and then put some epoxy on the underside where it is not seen to hold it in the on position and removed the screw after it dried.

it has sat for months.
gave up on it.
never even got to put the osv kit on.
lets see what the shop has to say.

my first post on this issue was back on 02-01-2008, 10:08 AM.
my car sat for a year now.
went to go get plates, azzholes at the dmv said that i would have to pay the full price even though i have not had the damn car on the road for the past year.
i need beers.
