Tuning this hellish bitch
okay well ive been trying for over a month now to find a place that has an oscilloscope and this is the only way to tune an amp this powerful "2000wrms" and get everything out of it
I found this in my travels online anyone think this would be a good buy? i know id use it for other electronics that i do but its like 200 bucks with shipping!! lol im sure getting my shit tuned "by alpine rep" would cost me too!! so they got me by the balls!!

Can't you just google and try tuning it yourself without wasting your money?
Idk anything about audio but it took me 3 seconds to google this and i'm not sure if its credible info but someone will chime in.

lol thats for smaller systems and its setting it by sound which i have tried and started a sub on fire! so i want to tune it 100% correct to avoid this again!!

Seeing that makes me really feel old, since I've still got an O-scope from the '90s and a freq generator that I assembled myself in the '70s.
If it performs as claimed and you can generate test tones of any frequency I think I would get it, but its something I would want to try before buying or get some kind of product review first. Resolution doesn't look too great in the ad's sample pic.

Oscope is useful for tons of stuff! Buy it, use it.. then sell it to me for 1/2 price :P
